Troop 146 is a Scouts BSA troop that welcomes both young men and women to enjoy the outdoors, develop important leadership skills, and helps foster growth and development. We operate in the Gerald R Ford council, and were first chartered in 1992!
Interested in joining?
The Scouts BSA program is for youth aged 11 to 18. Youth typically join after they have completed their Cub Scout program and earned the Arrow of light, sometime around 5th Grade. If you have a youth interested in joining (either boys or girls!), please visit the membership page and send an email or fill out the web form.
Weekly meetings
We meet Monday evenings year-round, from 7pm-8:15pm
Location: Jenison Christian Church, 7003 28th Ave.
Camping, hiking, and outdoor adventures
Check out our media page for some pictures and videos of previous camping outings!
Our troop typically does a weekend campout on the 3rd weekend of every month locally in the West Michigan area. Typical locations include Gerber Scout Reservation, Sleeping Bear dunes, Cran Hill, and more!
Once a year, we attend a week long summer camp program as an extended experience.
